Vixere

Vixere, meaning "to live" or "they lived" in latin.  The brand is inspired by the Blue Macaw, the Polar Bear and the Blue Whale.

A student start-up advocating for biodiversity with designs inspired by endangered species and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The mission and vision of the company was to use essential and sustainable materials to create lasting products that spread awareness and reduce waste. 

The Identity & Ethos

Minimalistic design paired with sustainable production methods. Every product is designed with the environment in mind — illustrations and a call-to-action depicting endangered species, and necklace pendants made using recycled plastic and bio-resin. The product line is a blank canvas for self expression and advocacy.

With this company, our team placed First Runner-up in the Junior Achievement Company Programme competition and proceeded to regionals as a representing team of Hong Kong.

As Chief Design Officer, Vixere was a passion project from beginning to end, allowing me to utilise design as a force for good, for real change.
